These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all vehicle rentals from Sky Car Rental. By renting a vehicle, you agree to these Terms.
Car Types
Sky Car Rental reserves the right to substitute vehicles when the reserved car types are not available.
1. Rental Requirements
To rent a vehicle, you must:
Be at least 20 years old
Hold a valid driver’s licence for at least 1 year
Provide valid ID and proof of address
Provide payment details or deposit as required
We reserve the right to refuse rental at our discretion.
2. Rental Period
The rental period starts at the agreed collection time and ends when the vehicle is returned.
Late returns may result in additional charges.
Extensions must be approved by us in advance.
3. Payment & Deposits
Full payment is required before or at the time of collection.
A security deposit may be required and will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in acceptable condition.
Additional charges may apply for:
Late return
Fuel shortage
Damage
Cleaning fees (if vehicle is returned excessively dirty)
4. Vehicle Condition
You must inspect the vehicle before driving and report any existing damage.
You are responsible for the vehicle during the rental period.
You must return the vehicle in the same condition it was given.
5. Damage & Insurance
You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period.
Our insurance may cover certain incidents, but excess fees may still apply.
Insurance does not cover:
Negligence
Driving under the influence
Off-road use
Unauthorized drivers
Misuse of the vehicle
A damage fee may be charged if the vehicle is returned damaged.
6. Use of the Vehicle
You must not:
Allow anyone not listed on the rental agreement to drive
Drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Use the vehicle for illegal activities
Smoke in the vehicle
Take the vehicle outside the permitted area/country without permission
Drive the vehicle off-road or in restricted zones
We may track vehicles using GPS for safety and anti-fraud purposes.
7. Fuel Policy
Vehicles should be returned with the same fuel level as at collection.
A refuelling fee may apply for shortages.
8. Breakdowns & Accidents
In the event of a breakdown, contact us immediately.
In case of an accident:
Notify us and local authorities
Do not admit liability
Provide all requested information
Failure to report incidents may result in extra charges.
9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made 24 hours before pickup for a full refund.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged a fee.
10. Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
11. Termination of Rental
We may cancel the rental agreement immediately if:
You breach these Terms
False information is provided
The vehicle is misused
You must return the vehicle immediately if asked.
12. Liability
We are not liable for:
Loss of income
Indirect or consequential damages
Delays caused by weather, breakdowns, or external factors
